The Castle Creations Sidewinder 8th combo is an affordable waterproof brushless power system designed for 1/8 scale RC vehicles. It is a great upgrade for 1/8 scale buggies, truggies, on-road vehicles, and 1/10 scale monster trucks weighing up to 11 lbs ready-to-run with batteries.

This combo includes the Sidewinder 8th waterproof ESC and Castle 1515-2200Kv V2 brushless motor. The ESC runs the motor in sensorless mode and supports 2S–6S LiPo power. It also features a powerful fixed BEC, removable cooling fan, and Castle Link programming compatibility for additional tuning and firmware updates.

Notes:
Battery connector is required and not included. Castle recommends using high-quality connectors suitable for high-power applications.

Although the ESC and motor are waterproof, they are not intended to be fully submerged. After use in wet, dirty, or corrosive conditions, rinse with clean water and allow to fully dry. The ESC cooling fan must be removed before driving in wet conditions, as the fan itself is not waterproof.

The included motor is sensored-capable, but the Sidewinder 8th ESC is not sensored-capable, so the combo runs in sensorless mode.
