Description
FT Centered ESC Mount
The Factory Team Centered ESC mount allows racers to mount their ESC in the center of the car against the rear bulkhead. In addition, the Centered ESC Mount makes room underneath for the receiver when using shorter packs. These changes move more of the weight to the center, allowing the vehicle to change direction faster. This advantage is even more pronounced on high-grip surfaces.
Its unique, flexible design flexes up to make it easier to install full-length stick packs. The supplied #4 washers are used to make sure your batteries fit underneath.
Designed for the B4 and T4 series vehicles.
Mounting tips
As shown in figure 3, remove 55mm from the rear of the battery strap.
When using two #4 washers under the Center ESC Mount, the maximum space for the speed control on top would be 21mm height.
You can mount the receiver, transponder, etc., behind the battery under the mount when using short packs (96mm length or shorter). See figure 5.
Mount the receiver, transponder, etc., on the passenger side of the chassis when using longer batteries (138.8mm length or longer).
Figure 1 shows the unmodified version of the buggy. Figures 2 and 4 show the Centered ESC Mount without the electronics. Figures 5 and 6 show the modified version with a short pack.
