Description

Hot Racing optional upgrade axle kit for the Traxxas 2WD electric Slash
FEATURES:
- Heavy duty CNC machined #45 hardened carbon steel construction
- Replaces factory plastic rear drive axles
- Hardened steel outdrives cups and 12mm wheel hex hubs
- Black oxide coated steel aids corrosion resistance
- Blue anodized aluminum pin capture rings with rubber o-rings to prevent movement
- Design eliminated CV pin setscrew
- Near zero backlash design
- Direct fit with no vehicle modification required
YOU WILL RECEIVE:
- Two (2) assembled CVD axles
- Two (2) steel outdrive cups
- Two (2) steel 12mm keyed hex hubs
- Four (4) M4x4mm setscrews
REQUIREMENTS:
- Removable thread lock (e. g. blue Loctite) on screws threading into metal
- Light grease for CV joint helps maintain their longevity
- Traxxas or Hot Racing brand transmission and suspension. Fit not guaranteed with other brands of aftermarket components (e. g. Pro-Line transmission)

- Dogbone length pin to pin: 78.5mm
- Dogbone pin diameter: 2.5mm
COMMENTS:
- For brushless power and heavy duty applications, use Hot Racing heavy duty splined axles STE282VXL02  (not included) or SLF288RCR (not included)
- Replaces factory plastic Traxxas TRA1951  (not included) half shafts, TRA2753X (not included) stub axles, and TRA4628 (not included) output yokes
- Replacement parts include: RECT288 (12mm hexes) (not included), RSTE288A (outdrive drive cup) (not included)
