Overview

The central point of every LED lighting system is the LED controller. It is this component that is going to appropriately power the LEDs so they do not get too much power and blow. It also separates the LEDs into independently controllable groups to which specific functionality can be assigned. It is the brain that tells the LEDs how and when to light.

Directly power up to 10 LEDs. Current limiting resistors are built right in.  10 CONSTANT LED CHANNELS SPLIT INTO 2 BANKS (6 CONSTANT, 4 CONSTANT).  Using the 10 LED Controller, LEDs can be directly powered using a variety of power sources.   Used with electronic switches, LEDs can be split into two independently controllable banks - LED1-6 and AUX1-4.   Usually LED1-6 is used for constants - headlights, running lights, navigation lights. Leaving AUX1-4 for auxiliary lights - brake lights, landing lights.

With the jumper installed on the AUX channel AUX1-4 are constant ON and electrically exactly the same as LED1-6.  The LINK channels are exactly the same as the PWR channel and can be used to power the controller or link power with additional controllers.

Controller pins can be directly soldered to for DIY projects. Use heat shrink to insulate each pin.

*Lights are designed to be used in extreme nighttime and low visibility running environments and are very high output.
