Yeah Racing TATT-026BU Aluminium Spur Gear Adaptor Set : Tamiya TT02 Blue

I ordered this for a RWD converted TT-02D. Now the question is… why did I purchase this over the Tamiya version which includes a 68T spur gear? The answer to that is being the aforementioned chassis already has a Yeah Racing RWD Drift Conversion, I adamantly wanted the chassis to have as many Yeah Racing upgrades as possible. That and I already have a 4WD TT-02 drift car that has all-Tamiya upgrades and wanted to compare the two. The reason why anyone would want any sour gear adapter upgrade is to take advantage of different gearing that's available. Not that there is a problem with the factory Tamiya 70T spur but by using an adapter, you can again gear up or down as needed to to get the acceleration or top speed you need while racing. While I have yet to install this into my RWD chassis as of writing (waiting on a 68T spur from Yeah Racing), I will recommend that if you intend on using this, consider upgrading the stock motor mount with the Yeah Racing version as it’ll give you the best setup options available compared to the plastic Tamiya mount or even the upgraded aluminum version. So far I’m loving this and am looking forward to getting more Yeah Racing parts for this chassis.
