The prototypes for the Walthers Cornerstone Scrap Yard Conveyor receive cut scrap metal from the Ferrous Shear or bales from the Baler-Logger and moves them into a truck or gondola for shipment. Sometimes the material is piled on the ground where it can later be picked up by an electromagnetic or grapple-type crane. 
 
While offered as an accessory for use with the Walthers Cornerstone Washington Salvage Scrap Yard kits, this conveyor is an ideal addition to any industry that processes scrap metals. Scrap yards, the steel industry and economic markets are closely linked. The demand, and the price paid for scrap governs how long a yard will store or how quickly it sells its scrap.
