The Mamba Micro X2 is a refresh of our popular Mamba Micro X. This new ESC increases the maximum input voltage to 4s. We also added DATA LOGGING and our CRYO-DRIVE™ TECHNOLOGY; CryoDrive allows the ESC to run cooler and more efficiently at partial throttle. Like its predecessor, it boasts an 2 amp peak BEC,waterproof* and has SENSORED MOTOR SUPPORT.
This ESC and Motor Combo is ideal for the weight conscious builder or where space is limited, it is perfect for 1:10 scale low speed rock crawlers/trail runners on 2S or 3S weighing less than 8lbs; can also be used in vehicles up to 4lbs for extended hill climbing and rock racing.
Important Product Update, 8/2/2022. Due to ongoing supply chain disruptions, we have been unable to manufacture the Micro X2. The parts in question are integral to the onboard 2-amp BEC. In an effort to provide the Micro X2 for sale again, we have removed the internal BEC and are including our external 10-amp CC BEC (a $24 value) with every Micro X2 purchase. This upgraded BEC has a wider range of BEC voltages and much higher current capacity. The retail price for the ESC and combos has not changed. If you're looking for a more aggressive setup in a heavier rig, like rock racing and extended hill climbing, we recommend you run the Mamba X ESC. Like its predecessor it includes improved features for rock crawling, including active drag brake and drag brake ramp.

Product Use Statements:
Applying voltages higher than 16.8 volts will cause irreparable damage to your controller, voiding your warranty.
Recommended battery capacity for 1:18 scale vehicles is 1500mAh. We recommend using 30C continuous discharge or higher LiPo batteries (or high quality 25C batteries such as Traxxas® Power Cell).
Mamba Micro X has 4.0mm bullet connectors on the motor wires and the battery input wires are bare. You must add the connector of your choice to the battery leads. We recommend a high current connector rated for at least 40 amps.

*Although the Mamba Micro X2 is waterproof, it is not intended for operation while completely submerged in liquid. They can corrode when exposed to corrosive materials, such as salt water. Always rinse the ESC with clean water after exposure to corrosives or dirt. While the controller may be waterproof, we suggest users confirm that the rest of their vehicle, including the batteries, servos, radio and chassis are also waterproof before exposing them to liquids of any kind.

Tech Notes:
Running modes: SMARTSENSE™, Sensored, Sensorless with Castle sensored capable ESCs.
Water Resistant Design: The sensor board is coated with silicone conformal coating to protect the sensors from moisture. The sensor connections are not water resistant; water can cause signal loss which could result in loss of sensored capabilities. Castle recommended applying dielectric grease to the outside of the sensor wire connections after installation of the wire. Routine maintenance is recommended after running in wet conditions. Please refer to this document for running and maintaining motors in wet environments.
