The Castle Creations Cobra 8 combo is a next-generation high-performance brushless power system designed for 1/8 scale surface vehicles. This combo includes the Cobra 8 waterproof ESC and Castle 1512-2650Kv V2 sensored brushless motor, making it a strong option for 1/8 scale off-road and on-road vehicles, as well as 1/10 scale 4WD short course trucks up to 9 lbs ready-to-run.

The Cobra 8 ESC features 32-bit processing for smooth motor control and fast response, advanced data logging, SmartSense operation, adjustable BEC, CRYO-DRIVE technology, and Castle Link programming. It also includes the Castle Link V4 USB adapter with USB-C connector for tuning and firmware updates.

Notes:
Battery connector is required and not included. Castle recommends using a high-current connector rated for 120+ amps, such as Castle 6.5mm bullets, Castle 8.0mm bullets, or 6.5mm polarized Castle connectors.

Although the ESC and motor are waterproof, they are not intended to be fully submerged. After use in wet, dirty, or corrosive conditions, rinse with clean water and allow to fully dry. The ESC cooling fan must be removed before driving in wet conditions because the fan is not waterproof.

The sensor board is moisture protected, but sensor connections are not water resistant. Castle recommends using dielectric grease around the sensor wire connections when running in wet conditions.
