Notes:
Battery connector is required and not included. Castle recommends a high-current connector rated for 150+ amps, such as Castle 8.0mm bullets, 6.5mm polarized Castle connectors, QS8 8mm anti-spark, or QS10 10mm anti-spark.
The Cobra 5 is not intended for drag racing or high-speed speed-run applications. Use of this ESC in drag racing or speed-run applications may void the warranty.
Although the ESC and motor are waterproof, they are not intended to be fully submerged. After use in wet, dirty, or corrosive conditions, rinse with clean water and allow to fully dry. The cooling fan must be removed before driving in wet conditions because the fan is not waterproof.
Monitor motor and ESC temperatures closely. Never exceed 200°F on the motor or ESC. Do not use motor mounting screws that extend more than 5mm into the front of the motor, as this can damage the motor windings.
