The Castle Creations 1717-1650Kv Sensored Motor is a high-power brushless motor designed for 1/6 scale vehicles and high-torque 1/8 scale applications. It is ideal for RC vehicles weighing up to 20 lbs running 6S–8S LiPo power.

This motor features Castle’s 4-pole, 12-slot design for excellent efficiency, strong torque, and cooler operating temperatures. When paired with a compatible Castle sensored ESC, the 1717-1650Kv motor supports smooth sensored startup and Castle SmartSense operation, which transitions to ultra-efficient sensorless running once the motor is moving.

Notes:
A compatible electronic speed control is required and sold separately. Castle recommends the Mamba Monster X 8S for this motor.

Verify motor fitment before installation. Some vehicles may require an optional motor mount or additional modifications.

Monitor motor and ESC temperatures closely. Never exceed 180°F on the motor or ESC. Do not use motor mounting screws that extend more than 5mm into the front of the motor, as screws that are too long can damage the motor windings and may void the warranty.

This motor is water-resistant, but the sensor wire connections are not water resistant. Castle recommends applying dielectric grease around the sensor wire connections when running in wet conditions. Routine maintenance is recommended after wet use.

Castle warranty does not cover failures from high-speed or drag racing applications.
